I hope you all enjoyed your extended holiday and celebrated safely. We spent the holiday in Chicago enjoying the sun at the Oak Street Beach. This city truly comes to life during the summer. If you haven’t visited yet, do it (and let me know so I can give you suggestions)!
We not only celebrated the 4th this weekend, but also said goodbye (for now) to our friends Cy and Renee, as they leave Chicago to have the adventure of their lives. Three months on the road in Europe, and then who knows how many more months in Australia. Go follow their journey on Instagram @twotravelingbums! Their first stop is Dublin, Ireland, and they’re leaving today 🙂 We will miss both of you so much, but cannot wait to follow your journey online!
What about you? Have you ever traveled around the world for months? Tell us about your experience in the comments!

Best of luck Ct and Renee! Something I hope to get to do in my life, the longest traveling I’ve done is a month…
